NYS Network for Youth Success
Math Beyond School is a podcast miniseries sponsored by the New York State Network for Youth Success. This show is designed to support afterschool and out-of-school time programs. Over three episodes, the show's host, Sara Kobilka, will discuss 1) Math's place in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), 2) The challenge of math identity for students AND educators, 3) Moving beyond the stereotypical "math is everywhere" message to find creative ways to show students that math and mathematical thinking are relevant in our daily lives.
