Jabari Zuberi & Zora J Murff
Artsits and scholars Jabari Zuberi and Zora J Murff engage in intellectual struggle to better understand the material conditions of being an artist in our Postmodern moment. Their efforts are to use the knowledge gained to promote consciousness-raising, demystify the regulative aesthetic functions of Western Black culture, and propose a new anti-imperialist program of political education and practice for ALL artists and scholars. We are making this to reach other artists, educators, other arts professionals and the petty bourgeoisie, because those are the lived experiences we have. That being said, this show is also for everyone; come study with us."The opposite of imperial violence is not non-violence." —Russell Maroon Shoatz cityboyzora.substack.com
