The reCourage Podcast is a companion to the B&H book Your Finest Hour: Faithful Ministry during Discouraging Times by Gateway Seminary faculty.Pastoral ministry can be demanding, stressful and discouraging. Pastors are constantly giving but not always pausing to refuel. At times they feel overwhelmed, isolated, and defeated. "Recouraged" was a word used by playwright John Heywood in the mid 1500’s. Though it does not enjoy inclusion in modern dictionaries, it does carry the force of what we present in Your Finest Hour; You matter to God.
