Learning Horizons - previously ‘The NAME it Podcast’ – started out as a ‘special series’ exploring the re-imagining of education. That series sparked a deeper interest, concern, and passion and became the impetus for making learning horizons (what the future of education and learning might become) the clear focus for this podcast. For over a decade now I have been asking questions and soaking up knowledge from teachers, educators, specialists, and countless others directly and indirectly involved in education about what is emerging, what could emerge, and what challenges are yet to be addressed. Increasingly, it appears that a re-imagining and eventual transformation of education (in the broadest meaning of the term) is one of the vital areas needing attention if we want to address the many interconnected global challenges facing us all.
