One life can leave "footprints" on the heart of another. This often occurs. During a lifetime, lives reach out and we touch life and life touches us. Sometime after two or more lives touch, they change. In some cases the impact of "touching" changes dramatically over time. Sometimes, life touching in youth, especially in the ages of 10 – 12 years old, leaves "footprints" we can follow - much, much later in life.
"Footprints" are left on our hearts in youth and in other stages of our human vulnerability. Footprints can guide. They can lead us to special "places" like: "peace", "comfort" and "tranquility", long after the life that imprinted us has "passed on". They can also cause great hardship, grief and dispair, of that I am much aware. There has been much written and reported on the abuse children have experienced. Footprints is not one of them.
