Been spinning a long time, 29 years, more than half my life. Have spun nearly every genre, have vacillated between taking this very seriously and not giving a fuck. It is more than a hobby, this is integrating an artistic conversation spanning the globe and it is my passion. This particular conversation we’ve been having in the Deep (house/tech/breaks) arena is particularly dope, and I’m excited to be a participant by spinning & producing that which moves my ass and soul, and raises my hands to the sky. If asked, I'll say I spin Swamp music... humid Deep House/Breaks/Tech with vivid palates. Mixing is my zen-state. It isn’t an intentional act as much as it is communion with sound, with the muse. I don’t plan Sets. My mantra is the ‘right song at the right time’, and you’re never going to answer that question until you’re in the moment. I kicked the vinyl habit in ‘05, but I still use CDJs..
