Young Emeljay
Young Emeljay
Everyday a star is born. Victor Manuel Lopez Jr. (Born January 22nd, 1990), better known as "Young Emeljay", is a Hispanic American rapper and songwriter hailing from Hoboken, New Jersey. The origin of his stage name comes at a clever one with a creative mind behind it at best. EM-EL-JAY refers to the pronunciation of each letter of his own government name, from middle to last name and suffix. His music channels the warmth of the east coast with the grit of the down south sound. It's all about connecting with listeners through high-energy, uplifting melodies, and a thought-provoking lyrical flow, very much like his influences such as Kanye West, Jay-Z, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Wu Tang Clan, or Biggie Smalls, just to name a few. Young is very versatile in his craft and it definitely makes him an artist to keep a watch for. He is currently one of the many growing independent acts from his town. Hoboken is a small factory town filled with artists, musicians, and bohemians on the west bank
