SANSOM
SANSOM
Alternative rock artist producing provocative listening with a raw energy. UK songwriter and producer Edward Sansom ignites his new music. Highly charged and with anthem-like chorus, it’s clear Sansom has a knack for sucking us in. Delivering a dark tension in his verse with a depth and complexity in the lyric which evolves into a floor filling chorus. Born and raised in Brighton, Sansom has spent his time weaving his electric sound into a shape that echos modern society. His dark melodic turn of phrase mirrors in artists like Bowie, Gaz Coombes, Foals, Arctic Monkeys, Everything Everything, Sam Fender, The Pale White. Sansom says: “there's a lot of noise at the moment and I want to offer some relief". Breaking out of Brighton and onto prestigious festival line ups such as Glastonbury, Isle of Wight and Camden Rocks. He has been a featured artist on his hometown festival Great Escape and BN1 Festival as well as track of the day features on the BBC Introducing show on BBC
