Different Matters
Different Matters
Here on the Different Matters podcast, we seek to create a space to center underrepresented voices on the predominantly white college campus that is Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Different Matters exists to answer questions of inclusivity, or the lack thereof, through student-led stories and exchanges.
The name Different Matters is inspired by Cal Poly’s student-run radio station KCPR 91.3, whose motto is “Where Different Matters.” We honor that motto by having honest conversations about diversity, equity, and inclusion at Cal Poly and in the greater San Luis Obispo area.
Different Matters has a team of four Cal Poly journalism students with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
