John Bender, known by his recording alias fuddyq, is an American born, Canadian electronic musician. His releases vary in style within the electronic genre, from summer track Soulbox to dance-pop A Soft Light to the IDM-influenced, glitchy beats of The Wind-Up Automaton.Influences from Boards of Canada can be heard on Duck and Cover, gentle, downtempo track with a dark subject, as well as This Is Not Normal, which is audibly disconcerting with groaning synths competing with soft voices.
