Bennington Triangle
Crawlspace Media, LLC
Deep in the forests around Vermont’s Glastenbury Mountain, five people vanished without a trace between 1945 and 1950, giving rise to the "Bennington Triangle" legend. These five high-profile cases—experienced guide Middie Rivers, college student Paula Welden, veteran James Tedford (supposedly from a moving bus), young Paul Jepson, and Frieda Langer (the only victim whose body was ever found), remain unsolved, fueling speculation about everything from serial killers to the supernatural.
In this series, Crawlspace Media's Tim Pilleri and Lance Reenstierna speak with Worcester State University archives librarian Ross Griffiths to break down each individual case and come to the most likely conclusion. In the final episode, Tim, Lance, and Ross speak with Joseph Citro, the author and Vermont folklorist who coined the term "Bennington Triangle".
