I have always believed that the first step towards actualizing a certain reality is to imagine it, to allow it to exist even if only within your own mind. And then by writing about it, talking about it, and thinking about it, you allow the idea to take on force. And this idea of taking on force comes from Dr. Hannah Arendt. She theorized politics as simply the collectivization of power that occurs when a group of people gather together to discuss and to act on something that benefits the public. In this sense, politics is fleeting; it exists in a moment of action and it is contingent on people working together as a collective. Politics then takes on a kind of force, through the people, to enact change. That is what I want this podcast to be: a space for the gathering of voices where conversation is a form of collective power. Each episode will focus on a certain topic presented critically through the perspectives of various voices engaged in conversation—voices that seek to challenge h
