Same Planet, Different Rules

Circle Of Insight Productions

What feels completely normal where you live might seem unusual somewhere else. Same Planet, Different Rules explores how everyday life changes as we travel from the United States to Europe, Japan, South Korea, China, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and beyond. Each episode takes one familiar part of life and asks how differently people experience it around the world. We explore homes and apartments, schools and universities, work, transportation, relationships, healthcare, laws, money, food, parenting and the unwritten social rules people rarely notice until they cross a border. This isn’t a travel guide and it isn’t about deciding which country does things best. It’s about discovering the fascinating ways different societies have developed different solutions to the same everyday problems.
